Lazy Club: Reach and Release
The lazy club is a listening format by Dampfzentrale Bern, in which the venue’s foyer is filled with DJ sets by various local, national, and occasionally international figures from cultural and music scenes (musicians, curators, journalists, artists, concertgoers, DJs, …). The lazy club — neither Elevator Music nor Diskoteka — is a space for active listening, where personal reference systems, rabbit holes and (guilty) pleasures can be shared and appreciated. The format offers a low-threshold and cosy opportunity for social connection in collective attentiveness.
Normally, the lazy club takes place on the third Sunday of each month as a standalone event at Dampfzentrale. However, an additional edition called lazy club – reach and release will be held as part of the opening of the Swiss Dance Days 2026.
Accessibility
The performance spaces and toilets at the Dampfzentrale are accessible to wheelchair users via a stair lift. Please contact us by email at kasse@dampfzentrale.ch so that we can reserve a suitable seat in the auditorium for you.
