Meeting Point

The festival centre, located at Stube PROGR is a space to relax in between performances. A warm cup of tea welcomes the visitors to relax and exchange in a cozy, living room atmosphere. Baked goods and lunch will be sold. In addition, a playful installation inside the STUBE offers an overview of the vibrant Bernese Dance Scene.

Katharina Ludwig (DE/CH) and Grėtė Šmitaitė (LT/CH) are Bern-based, actively internationally working dance artists and members of BETA – Bernese Dance Association. As choreographers they each uniquely seek playfulness and humor that speak to diverse audiences. In the curation of the festival centre they are inspired to represent the exciting variety of the Bernese Dance Scene.

Accessibility

The Stube (festival center) has its own staircase entrance via PROGR-Westhof and is fully wheelchair accessible (automatic door opening at the Speichergasse 4 entrance, including a new wheelchair lift and wheelchair-accessible toilet).The aula at Progr is accessible to wheelchair users via a wheelchair lift and passenger lift via the inner courtyard.
