Keemi will teach a DANCEHALL open level class / beginners friendly.
With old school, middle school and new school male steps, as well as general knowledge on Dancehall culture.

Keemi started his dancing career as founder and leader of a dance group called “Starlight Dancerz”. Late 2010, he was discovered and recruited by the members of “Elite Team”. He has always been an inspiration to his peers while dancing throughout the years.
Keemi has been touring in Europe since 2013 until today and teaches weekly classes in Zurich, where he is based at.
He has appeared in music videos such as  Konshens – Do sum’n, Kreesha – Turnero-Rock paper Scissors, Konshens – Jamaican dance, Shakka Pow – Old Man Saw and Shoota, Brandish – Summer Swing.
“Elite Team” has won several awards such as “New Group of the Year 2011”, “Up town Monday best dancers” in 2012, amongst others. They are an influential team in the streets of Kingston. Nationally and internationally acclaimed by moves such as  badda wave, Tsunami Rock, Gringo, jabba jabba, Beatdembad, Fat40, team up, K.O variation 1,2 & 3, Soota 1 to 2, Fatal, Oiiieeee to name a few.

The workshop accomapnies the performance 1GUH WATCH of february 13 at 9pm and participants are encouraged to join the show.

Accessibility

The performance spaces and toilets at Vidmarhallen are accessible to wheelchair users and there are nearby, signposted parking spaces for visitors with reduced mobility.
