CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FROM COMPANIES AND CHOREOGRAPHERS
The next edition of Swiss Dance Days will take place in Geneva from February 2-5, 2028. We invite all dance companies, collectives and producers based in Switzerland to submit their productions.
What are the Swiss Dance Days?
Every two years, the Swiss Dance Days offer a dozen productions from Swiss dance companies the opportunity to be performed for a local, national and international audience. The aim is to facilitate the distribution of these pieces both in Switzerland and internationally. The platform connects artists with theatres, festivals and programming organisations here and abroad. It fosters dialogue and exchange among all professionals at themed meetings during the festival. The fourteenth edition of Swiss Dance Days will take place in Geneva from 2 to 5 February 2028.
Eligibility and selection criteria
- Professional dance companies, collectives or production structures registered as associations and have their association registered in Switzerland;
- Dance pieces premiering between 1 August 2025 and 30 June 2027.
- Pieces for which a full video recording is available. (Trailers are not accepted, a still image is sufficient)
- Be interested in developing your artistic work and touring it (availability of teams, ability to organise the necessary logistics and technical realisation as required).
